Their breakthrough came in 2016 after being given orders to register a mining service company and they soon realized that something that was once a dream is now coming to a reality. As young enthusiastic entrepreneurs they recall how this was an indication that the winds of change had started blowing. Along the way they  had a few encounters with the major mining industries some were more fruitful than others. Among other encounters they were given the opportunity to present to investors in Dubai, in that concurrence alone their expert advise (from the investors) suggested that they change their company from a mining company to management consulting company because that was their main peculiarity, and those were the servic...

BEAUTY VENUS TRAINING INSTITUTE

Image
Who is Beauty Venus? Beauty Venus is a training institute that aims to redefine the image and the term beauty as a whole. We aim at proving to people that Beauty is more than what meets the eye, it’s an art form that we can use to express ourselves, unleash that inner potential, build confidence, make a living. Beauty venus aims to change the misconception people have that being in the beauty industry is just a hobby. The idea of starting a beauty training institute stemmed from my love for beauty. Coming into the industry I noticed that there are very few black and even those that are in the industry don’t take it serious. I realised that it was because of this misconception. Even in my own family. I then decided to start this training institute to empower young women like me and to show them that one doesn’t need to go to university/higher educational training institutions for a career. One can build on the talent they have and make a living out of that. There are many young ...

Tell me a bit about yourself My name is Pamela Matsimela, I was born in a small village called Mohlaletse in Ga-sekhukhune Limpopo in 1992.I moved to Springs  in Ekurhuleni  in 2002 that’s where I did most of my schooling and later studied electrical engineering in Pretoria. I grew up in a friendly and loving environment, with the humbleness that comes from home and as well as the teachings, you get taught the importance of life and to appreciate the smallest things in life. What motivated you to start a business and how did it all start? I’ve always wanted to study somatology which I thought was the only way to get to produce skin care products but because my parents always encourage us to study a career which they think is safe and would bring a substantial income and get a job I had no choice but to take a different career path for backup .So I came to Pretoria to study electrical engineering and completed the course. While I was looking for a job in the related fie...

INK DEEP TATTOOS

Image
Ever since childhood I’ve always had the skills to draw. I would sketch anything that came to mind and drew just about anything I could. It was 2016 when I got my first tattoo and realised the procedures behind drawing the tattoo was nothing I couldn’t handle. I was inspired by the artist who was working on me who looked so passionate with what he was doing. As an artist I was fired up and I knew I needed to try this because I needed to share my art with the world in some way too and tattooing felt right. What inspired you to become a tattoo artist? Deeper inspiration came from the place I was born and raised (Marapyane, small village in Mpumalanga) people there are misinformed about tattoos. I saw this opportunity to lift and educate people specifically there about tattoos and at the same time it would serve as a platform to base and grow my business in art. What challenges did you face as a young entrepreneur? As a starting business it was slow I had to gain re...
